don't wear that

This woman came up with a pretty unique tactic to hit back at body shamers

And it’s blown up on Twitter.

EARLIER THIS MONTH, American woman Sara Petty noticed somebody on Twitter saying that if you weigh over 200 pounds then a bikini isn’t for you.

She searched a bit more and found that it was a pretty common opinion out there.

So, she created four images and tweeted them out with the line “Girls: Wear whatever the hell you want.”

She told Huffington Post this week about how this tactic worked out for her:

I just did some quick searches and found a bunch of similar tweets, so I decided I could do my part to chip away at body shaming however I could.

Her four images included her in a crop top, bikini, leggings and shorts

Each one was uploaded with a selection of tweets saying that girls like Sara absolutely shouldn’t wear these things

They have been retweeted over 75,000 times at this stage

That’s a pretty strong showing of support, then

You’d have to class that as a categorical win.
