A YOUNG SHARK has washed up on Inchydoney beach in Cork.
The county’s lifeguard service posted photos of the dead blue shark on social media after the discovery was made yesterday.
Greg Collins from Cork Surf Livesaving Club told TheJournal.ie he and his two young children came across the shark yesterday.
We spotted it and went over. We were very curious. The kids had never seen a shark like this before.
Collins has worked as a lifeguard for years and said he “can’t remember in my lifetime seeing a shark washing up”.
