Spring has sprung at Dublin Zoo with several new arrivals, including a sea lion from Mallorca

Kai, a four-year-old sea lion from Mallorca, is said to be settling in well to his new surroundings.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG at Dublin Zoo with plenty of new arrivals ahead of Easter.

There are four new Galway lambs and Dublin Zoo has also welcomed five meerkats who have arrived from Cork’s Fota Wildlife Park.

Dublin Zoo said the meerkats are “settling in well in their new home” and visitors to the zoo will be able to see them this Easter.

Meanwhile, Dublin Zoo has also welcomed a four-year-old sea lion from Mallorca named Kai.

Elsewhere, visitors to Dublin Zoo from now until 12 April will be able to take part in the ‘Great Penguin Adventure’ and the chance to win a lifetime pass.

Dublin Zoo is open every day over the Easter holidays, including Good Friday and Easter Sunday, from 9.30am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm.
