Fresh appeal for witnesses to Dublin crash that killed 91-year-old pedestrian

The incident occurred on the Old Dublin Road in Stillorgan on Saturday 25 March.

GARDAÍ HAVE RENEWED their appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision in Stillorgan, Co Dublin.

The incident occurred on the Old Dublin Road at around 4.10pm on the afternoon of Saturday 25 March 2017.

A 91-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a beige coloured Saab outside the Asian market.

She was injured and taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital, where she has since passed away.

It is understood that the incident is not being treated as a hit and run collision.

Gardaí are keen to speak to witnesses, or anyone who was in the vicinity of Old Dublin Road between 4pm and 4.30pm on that date, and urge them to contact Blackrock Garda Station on 01 666 5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
