A RANELAGH BUILDING has been declared safe after a suspicious device was found there earlier today.
The bomb disposal unit arrived in the area at 4:40pm and the scene was deemed safe at 5:30pm.
The device has been taken away for further examination and traffic restrictions have been lifted.
It is understood several local residents were evacuated from nearby buildings as bomb disposal experts assessed the area.
