LAST UPDATE | 16 Oct 2025
TWO WOMEN and a man were arrested as part of an ongoing operation targeting an organised crime group.
The organised crime group is involved in drug trafficking and money laundering in the Dublin Metropolitan Region and gardaí seized over €300,000 in cash during a search operation yesterday.
In the course of the operation, a number of homes in Dublin’s North Inner City were searched.
A total of €301,000 in cash was recovered from two of the properties, with €35,000 found at one address and €266,000 at another.
Three people were arrested – a man in his 40s, a woman in her 30s, and a woman in her 60s.
All three are currently detained at Garda stations in the city.
In an update tonight, a garda spokesperson said the three individuals arrested in connection with the investigation have now been charged.
They are due to appear before Court 1 of the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin at 10:30am tomorrow.
