TEMPERATURES WILL HIT highs of 18 degrees in parts of Ireland today, making it the warmest day of the year so far.
Today will flit between 13 and 17 degrees, but it will be that little bit warmer in inland areas, with a mostly light easterly breeze.

Today will see highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees, possibly reaching 18 degrees locally in inland areas, with a mostly light easterly breeze, moderate at times near southern coasts.
Tomorrow, Met Éireann has outlined that mist and fog will clear for most areas through the morning leaving another dry day with plenty of sun.
Temperatures will hit highs of 12 to 15 degrees.
The weekend will kick off with similar conditions, according to the forecaster, with “hazy sunshine” for the most of the country.
It’s likely to be duller for the northwest on Saturday – but we can still expect temperatures will range between 11 to 14 degrees.
The warmer, sunnier conditions will be pared back come Sunday as temperatures ebb between 10 and 13 degrees with light to moderate westerly winds, veering northwesterly through the day.
It will become cloudier through the morning with patchy rain or drizzle in places, with rain “more persistent” in Connacht and Ulster according to Met Éireann.
