Does wet weather influence your mood?

While the rain will eventually go away, it’s set to stick around for another few days.

WELL, IT’S BEEN over a week of persistent wet weather and there’s little sign of it letting up over the next few days.

Met Éireann has forecast “significant” outbreaks of rain tonight, with the heaviest showers expected in areas already impacted by downpours and flooding.

The rain is set to continue through Thursday and Friday before easing over the weekend, forecaster Andrew Doran-Sherlock told RTÉ’s Morning Ireland today.

Ireland has experienced significant rainfall over the last few weeks, especially during Storm Chandra, which led to flooding and transport delays in the east of the country.

Beyond the physical disruptions, weeks of grey skies and constant rain can sometimes affect how people feel. Whether it’s staying indoors or having to change plans, wet weather can have a big impact on our day-to-day lives.

So, tell us: Does wet weather influence your mood?
