Face off

Which Valentine's card is worse?

Would you be more insulted to receive Enda’s ‘Do not be cupid’ effort, or this corny card from the 1950s?

EVERY DAY, TheJournal.ie‘s Face Off poll puts one of the pressing issues of the campaign to your snap judgement.

Last night, Fine Gael unveiled its latest electoral initiative on the unsuspecting public – a faintly creepy animated Valentine e-card, featuring evocative declarations of adoration as “It’s the economy, Cupid” and Keatsian-inspired passages, including “Labour are red, Fine Gael are blue, We won’t increase your taxes, Like they want to do.”

We want to know which Valentine card would you be more insulted to receive today: Fine Gael’s electronic love letter, or this hopelessly corny effort from the 1950s?

Poll Results:

Corniest Valentine ever (99)
