A 30-YEAR-old man is due in Baltinglass District Court, Co Wicklow today following a high speed chase in which seven gardaí were injured.
Yesterday afternoon gardaí investigating a theft at St Fergal’s Church in Bray pursued a black coloured saloon car which was believed to be involved in this incident. In an area known as Windgates between Bray and Greystones the car rammed three garda cars, two of which were unmarked.
The man in his 30s was arrested and detained at Bray garda station.
In total, seven gardai received non serious injuries as a result of the incident and one required hospital treatment.
