BACK TO BLACK, a movie on the life of talented singer Amy Winehouse, has been released in Irish cinemas today.

British actress Marisa Abela plays the Tears Dry on Their Own singer, who died aged 27 from alcohol poisoning.

Directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, the film has been met with mixed reviews, with the Financial Times giving it two stars, while Variety has praised Back to Black as “forthright and compelling”.
