Woman (20s) dies after being struck by a car in south Dublin

Emergency services attended the scene of the collision on the N11 Bray Road in Loughlinstown at around 11.50pm.

A PEDESTRIAN IN her 20s has died after being struck by a car in south Dublin. 

Emergency services attended the scene of the collision on the N11 Bray Road in Loughlinstown at around 11.50pm. 

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The coroner has been notified and the scene has been preserved for examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Local traffic diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. 

They are particularly appealing to any road users who may have camera footage from the area at the time to make this available to them.
