A WOMAN IS due in court this morning in connection with online threats made against Tánaiste Simon Harris and his family.
Gardaí investigating the threats arrested and charged the woman, aged in her 30s, earlier this morning.
She is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice later today.
Harris has previously spoken out about threats to his family, including online abuse, a phoned bomb threat, and protests outside his home.
In September, he said he would no longer maintain “a dignified silence” on the issue, highlighting concerns over the growing toxicity in public discourse and the targeting of children online.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
