Woman dies and others injured in Galway crash involving four cars
The crash happened just before 5pm this evening on the N17 at Claretuam.
A WOMAN HAS died following a road crash involving four cars near Tuam in Co Galway just before 5pm this evening.
The woman, believed to be in her late 60s or 70s, was fatally injured in a crash involving four cars at around 4.45pm this evening on the N17 at Claretuam, Tuam in Co Galway.
A number of other people received minor injuries in the incident.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination of the area.
