Woman seriously injured after hit-and-run collision involving car and e-bike in Co Tipperary

The traffic collision occurred on the Fethard Road towards Killusty, Lisronagh, Co Tipperary.

A WOMAN IN her 40s has been seriously injured after a hit-and-run collision involving a car and an e-bike in Co Tipperary.

The traffic collision occurred on the Fethard Road towards Killusty, Lisronagh, Co Tipperary at around 2am on Saturday, 9 May.

A woman in her 40s was riding the e-bike and sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.

Anyone who was travelling on the Fethard Road between Fethard and Clonmel between 1.45am and 2.30am on 9 May, and who may have any information, is asked to make contact.

Anyone with camera footage, including mobile phone and dash-cam, is asked to make this available.
