Young girl seriously injured in e-bike hit and run

A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested by gardaí.

A YOUNG GIRL has been seriously injured in a hit and run in Dublin yesterday evening. 

She was struck by a “Surron type e-bike which failed to remain at the scene”, gardaí said.

The incident occurred at approximately 8:20pm at Curragh Hall, Tyrellstown, in Dublin 15. 

The child has been taken to Temple Street Hospital where she is being treated for serious injuries. 

A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested by gardaí and is currently detained at a garda station in north Dublin.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
