Another arrest over abduction and murder of Ciarán Noonan

Gardaí have arrested a seventh person in the investigation into the case. Noonan was seen by witnesses being beaten and bundled into a car in the East Wall area of Dublin on 20 October.

ANOTHER ARREST HAS been made by gardaí investigating the abduction and murder of Dublin man Ciarán Noonan.

The man in his late 20s was arrested this morning and is being detained at Store Street Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against The State Act 1939.

This is the seventh arrest in the case.

Yesterday, a man in his 30s was taken into custody in west Dublin and is still being held at Store Street garda station.

The body of 29-year-old Noonan was discovered in a field in Co Meath earlier this month.

He was last seen by witnesses on 20 October in the East Wall area of Dublin, being beaten up before being bundled into a car.
