Teen arrested in Cameron Reilly murder investigation released without charge

Cameron Reilly was found dead in a field in Dunleer, Co Louth last month.

AN 18-YEAR-OLD MAN arrested in connection with the murder of Cameron Reilly has been released without charge.

Cameron was found dead in a field at Shamrock Hill, Dunleer on Saturday 26 May. A post-mortem concluded that the 18-year-old died in “violent circumstances”.

Yesterday, a teenager was arrested in Dunleer as part of the investigation into his death.

Gardaí said that a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

There have been numerous appeals for people who may have information to come forward; Gardaí have been particularly keen to talk to young people in the community, and have requested that locals search their bins and gardens for Cameron’s phone.
