GARDAÍ IN CARLOW have arrested two men after a gun was fired in a housing estate yesterday.

The firearm was discharged from a car at 4pm in the O’Hanrahan Avenue area of Carlow ton. No one was injured and the car left the scene.

In a follow-up operation last night, garadí arrested two men in their 30s in Carlow town. They are currently being held in Carlow Garda Station.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area between 3.30pm and 4.30pm yesterday who may have seen anything or be able to help them with the investigation to contact Carlow Garda Station on 059 9136620, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
