The cheapest cities around the world to drink a beer

WE ARE BIG beer lovers in this country and the price of a pint in your local bar can be either a source of pride or frustration.

For the beer connoisseurs among you, here’s a map showing the cheapest cities in the world to drink a beer:

The cheapest city is Krakow in Poland followed by Kiev in Ukraine and Bratislava in Slovakia.

Dublin (as if you needed us to tell you) is pretty far down the list. Our capital city is the 54th cheapest to get a beer at an average of €5.69 for a 33cl bottle or glass of beer in a bar and €1.33 in a supermarket.

This compares to the €2.45 in a bar and 57 cent in a supermarket in the cheapest city Krakow. It might make you feel better to know, however, it costs an average of almost €10 for a small beer in Geneva.
