Cyclist killed in Thurles crash
The woman, aged in her 70s, was involved in a collision with a bus this morning.
A FEMALE CYCLIST has died after she was involved in a collision with a bus in Thurles, Co Tipperary this morning.
The woman, aged in her 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident occurred at Kickham Street at around 9.50am. There were no passengers on the bus at the time.
Forensic collision investigators have attended the scene and the street has been reopened to traffic.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Thurles Garda Station on 0504 25100, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
