TWO MEN ARE to appear in court tomorrow morning in relation to the discovery of a cannabis growhouse in Drogheda, Co Louth.
The two – aged 25 and 35 – have been in Garda custody since yesterday morning at Blanchardstown Garda station.
Gardai from the Dublin Metropolitan Region traffic corps stopped and searched a vehicle in the Blanchardstown area at 10pm on Friday night.

That led to the search of a house in Drogheda in the early hours of Saturday where gardai from the Garda National Drugs Unit and Drogheda gardai found a cannabis growhouse – in it was cannabis plants with a potential street value of around €600,000.
It was the second large cannabis seizure this weekend. Gardai found cannabis herb and resin with an estimated street value of €700,000 in a house at Hazel Grove Court in Tallaght last night.
Although that search was planned, there were no arrests made at the scene yesterday.
