PEOPLE LIVING IN Ireland spend a lot of time discussing the weather.

Understandably, a considerable amount of this conversation could be considered complaining. Are we right? So, it can be easy to forget about the overwhelming beauty this country offers us on a daily basis.

Sometimes, it is worth just taking a minute to appreciate everything that is happening around us and tonight multiple people were doing just that as they admired the wondrous kaleidoscope of colours being created in the sky during this evening’s sunset.

Thanks to all our readers who sent in images – although we can’t see it from the depths of TheJournal.ie dungeon, it’s been nice to have the spectacle brought to us so we can show it to others who may have missed the delight.

Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning, red sky at night is a shepherd’s delight. Fingers crossed.
