Irish woman missing in France since Wednesday

The teacher from Clare was last seen shopping in the town of Annonay.

AN IRISH FAMILY are appealing for help in finding a woman in her 20s who has gone missing in the south-east of France.

Eimear Noonan has been living in the town of Annonay, about 75 kilometres south of Lyon.

The teacher from Clare has been missing since Wednesday afternoon when she was shopping in the town.

Family and friends are posting appeals for information on social media.

Eimear Noonan is around 5 ft 9 in in height, of average build with blue eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is being asked to contact the Irish Consulate in Lyon.

The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to Ms Noonan’s family.
