PICTURES: Friends again! Leo and Enda patch things up over a cup of tea

Just two best pals sharing a completely normal cup of friendship tea.

TAOISEACH ENDA KENNY and Health Minister Leo Varadkar seem awfully keen to kiss and make up at the Fine Gael think-in at Fota Island in Cork today.

After a few days of public back-and-forth over the government’s health policy and the forthcoming budget, the two men appear to have buried the hatchet.

Leo said yesterday he didn’t mind “being slapped down or scolded“, after a rebuke from the boss earlier in the week, and on RTE News Fine Gael TD Michael Ring likened the relationship to that of a mother chastening her children.

And what better way to show that there is peace in the valley, than a nice, calming, uncontroversial cup of tea.
