Appeal after young man seriously injured in suspected hit-and-run

He was taken to Limerick University Hospital after being found by a passing motorist.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for information after a young man was found with serious injuries in a suspected hit-and-run in Limerick this morning.

The pedestrian in his early 20s was discovered at Dullas, Croom by a passing motorist at around 2.30am.

He was taken to Limerick University Hospital with what is described as serious injuries.

It’s believed that the incident took place sometime after 1.30am.

Gardaí are appealing for road users who were on the Ballingarry Road out of Croom to contact them at Newcastlewest Garda Station on 069-20650, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
