Man missing since Wednesday may be in Donegal

He has a tattoo on each side of his neck saying ‘mum’ and ‘dad’.

POLICE IN TYRONE are currently trying to locate missing man Sean ‘Smurf’ Diver.

The 39-year-old was last seen in Townsend Street in Strabane on Wednesday evening.

Police have since received a report that a person matching his description was spotted at the old railway bridge in the area of Porthall, Lifford at around 8.30 on Thursday morning.

Diver is described as 5’7 in height, slim build, with dark brown hair. He has a tattoo on each side of his neck saying ‘mum’ and ‘dad’.

When last seen it’s believed he may have been wearing dark coloured tracksuit bottoms with red stripes on each side,  dark footwear with white soles and either a dark red coloured hooded top with white writing on the chest, or a dark coloured jacket.

Anyone in the Lifford or wider Donegal area with information is asked to call 048 90 650 222 and ask for PSNI Strabane.

Northern Ireland residents can call the non-emergency number 101.
