A MAN HAS been struck by a Luas tram in Dublin’s city centre.
The incident happened just after 8.45pm this evening. It occurred on O’Connell Street near the Abbey Street junction.
Emergency services are at the scene and Luas Red Line services had been suspended between Smithfield and The Point. They have now resumed, but delays are expected.
The condition of the injured person is not yet known.
O’Connell Street has been closed northbound. It is understood the man’s injuries are not serious.
