1. #ABORTION Three people have been charged over the death of a woman who had an abortion in London in 2012. A doctor and two nurses have been charged with the woman’s manslaughter.

2. #FATAL ACCIDENT Gardaí are investigating a fatal road accident at Cloonmore, Tuam, Co Galway this morning. A 55-year-old man was killed when his car was struck by another vehicle.

3. #PAOLO TULLIO The popular food critic and writer Paolo Tullio has died at the age of 65.

4. #COURTS A 51-year-old man charged with 50 counts of sexual offences against two young girls will stand trial next month at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

5. #DUNNES STORES Workers from the retailer are calling on the public to  march with them in Dublin today.  The march is part of the workers’ ongoing dispute with the company over employee rights.

6. #TIPPERARY The sister of one of two men who drowned off the Waterford coast has spoken of her frustration at not being able to secure a meeting with the Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe to discuss the investigation into her brother’s death.

7. #MALAYSIA 11 people died and eight are still missing after getting stranded on Kinbalu mountain following an earthquake.

8. #NOT PLAYING: The head of Renua Lucinda Creighton has ruled out going into coalition with pretty much everybody after the next general election.

9. #THE FAI The FAI have issued a statement seeking to clarify the events surrounding the infamous €5 million payment. Meanwhile association CEO John Delaney told RTE last night that the payment was not directly related to Thierry Henry’s infamous handball.
