Family avoid injury after shots fired at home in Finglas

Sources say the attack is linked to a criminal with ties to the Kinahan gang.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after two shots were fired at a house in Finglas.

The incident occurred on Monday night at around 9.15pm when two shots were fired at a house in Charlestown Park, near the Charlestown Shopping Centre.

It is believed two men pulled up on a motorbike and discharged shots at the house, with at least one shot passing through a window frame. A number of people were in the house at the time but no one was injured.

The scene was preserved for a technical examination.

Sources say the attack is linked to a criminal with ties to the Kinahan gang.
