A WOMAN IN her 30s has been arrested in connection with the death of Sligo musician Martin Kivlehan.
She’s the sixth person to be questioned about the killing of the 59-year-old in August.
The musician was found dead in his apartment on Holburn Street at the beginning of August, having been stabbed multiple times.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman was detained in the Sligo town area this morning and is being held at Sligo Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
A number of arrests were made in connection with the death last month.
Martin Kivlehan’s murder was greeted with shock in the area, and he was described locally as a “gentleman” and talented musician.
