THE FINAL MOMENTS of the Titanic have been the subject of scutiny in the last century – but mysteries still linger about how the great ship went down.

Now James Cameron, director of the Titanic movie and deep-sea diving enthusiast, has put together a new CGI video detailing exactly what happened to the huge liner during those fateful few hours on April 14, 1912.

Cameron brought together a team of engineers and other specialists to mount a new investigation for the National Geographic Channel programme Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron.
