Woman in her 20s dies in Wexford crash

The crash happened in Newbawn this afternoon.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses after a woman in her 20s died in a car crash in Wexford this afternoon.

The crash happened at 2pm at Newbawn in New Ross when the car the woman was driving collided with another car.

The driver of the other vehicle was not seriously injured.

A forensic examination of the scene is currently being carried out and the road remains closed.

Gardaí have asked any witnesses to the crash to contact them at New Ross Garda station on 051 426030.
