31-year-old man killed in Kildare car crash

The accident happened in the early hours of this morning on the M4.

A 31-YEAR-OLD MAN has died after a fatal two-car collision in the early hours of this morning.

The crash happened on the M4 outbound at Kilmore at around 1.25am. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and has been removed to Naas General Hospital.

The driver of the second car received minor injuries. There were no other passengers in either of the vehicles.

Forensic collision investigators are at the scene and the road is currently closed with diversions in place.
