4. #GERMANY A woman suspected of being locked away by her mother for years has been found by police in Rosenheim. She has an intellectual disability and was discovered when officers carried out an eviction order.

5. #OFF THE BOX Around 10,000 Irish homes had their TV connection shut off today after a transmission network was switched off last night. Virgin Media was up until last night the provider of the service, but the licence has expired.
