1. #PROPERTY TAX: Over three quarters of properties on the Local Property Tax register have been valued at less than €200,000, which Revenue said is in line with its expectations.

2. #FLU: The HSE is urging people in high risk categories, such as over 65s, pregnant women and healthcare workers, to get themselves vaccinated against the flu warning that 1,000 could die in a severe flu season.

3. #CHLOE KINSELLA: The funeral of 15-year-old Chloe Kinsella, whose body was recovered from the River Shannon last week, took place in Limerick this morning. During the service, local priest Fr Pat Seaver said “life is for living – especially for young people, especially for 15-year-olds”.

4. #CALIFORNIA: Police in California are investigating the death of an Irishman who was hit by a vehicle on Friday morning. Neither alcohol nor any other impairment was a factor, according to police.

5. #MENTAL HEALTH: TD Alan Farrell, has apologised to Sinéad O’Connor for saying on Twitter that she was “mad as a brush” during her appearance on the Late Late Show on Friday night.
