1. #COURTS: Two men have been found guilty of the murder of Limerick businessman Roy Collins who was shot dead in the city in 2009. Wayne Dundon and Nathan Killeen were given mandatory life sentences by the Special Criminal Court this afternoon.

2. #SPOTLIGHT: The United Nations has heard that Ireland has ‘no solution’ to the problem of women being unable to afford to travel overseas to undergo a termination for medical reasons.

5. #DON’T MENTION THE G WORD: In case you haven’t had enough of the Garth Brooks debacle over the past week, Dublin City Council boss Owen Keegan was brought before TDs and Senators today to answer questions about what went wrong. Keegan said he believed the decision by DCC was “appropriate, balanced and reasonable”.
