1. #LEICESTER FIRE: Three people have been arrested in connection with a deadly street attack which took place just hours before a house fire killed a mother and three children of a Beaumont Hospital doctor, Taufiq Sattar. Police are investigating if the murder is possibly linked to the fire.

2. #ANTRIM: It is understood that the PSNI are not looking for anyone else in relation to the shooting dead of two men in the county, who are believed to be a dairy farmer and one of his workers. [RTE]

3. #REFORM ALLIANCE: Dublin South TD Peter Mathews, one of the members of the new Reform Alliance (RA) group, told that he is still a member of Fine Gael and that there will be no new party and “there never will be”.

4. #CRIME CRACKDOWN: As part of a large-scale inter-country operation called “Operation Majesty” gardaí carried out seven searches in Dublin and Meath yesterday, arresting two men in connection to a major drugs network worth €40 million.
