5. #CARLOW-KILKENNY: The Dáil has a new TD. Fianna Fáil’s Bobby Aylward was deemed elected in Carlow-Kilkenny early this morning.

6. #SWEDE DREAMS: Sweden claimed the Eurovision title, with Ireland not in the final and the UK bombing.

7. #USC: The Sunday Times reports that the government will cut USC, not scrap it, in this year’s Budget.

8. #TB: A batch of TB vaccines for babies has been delayed, but the Health Minister says it is nothing to worry about.

9. #HOSTAGE: An Irishman held hostage in Lebanon for four years says that “if you don’t have a sense of humour you are dead man walking“. Brian Keenan will speak to Miriam O’Callaghan today to mark 25 years since his release.
