3. #PLANE CRASH: Two Irish men have been critically injured in a Florida plane crash. Four Irish people were on board.

4. #FAMILY COURTS: TheJournal.ie spent a week in the family courts and found that domestic violence applications rose by 5% in 2013. One mother said, “Last night he kicked my door in. I live in total fear of my son“.

5. GALWAY: Nurses ar Galway University Hospital will hold a one hour protest today over staff shortages and lack of beds at the hospital. [RTÉ]

6. #LIMERICK: A second man has been arrested after shots were fired at a Limerick house last night. Three people – a 22-year-old woman and two male teenagers – were in the house at the time.

7. #AUSCHWITZ: A 93-year-old former Auschwitz guard has been charged with 300,000 crimes.

8. #AWARENESS: Two people a week die from mouth cancer. There are free examinations at over 500 dental surgeries around the country today.

9. #RUN RUN RUN: An Irish man is running a marathon in the Amazon to raise money for a teacher with cancer – he’s hoping to cover the cost of her treatment.
