All jobs saved as receiver is appointed to Muckross Park Hotel

Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin took over the hotel in 1990.

RSM FARRELL GRANT Sparks have been appointed receivers to the five-star Muckross Park Hotel in Killarney, Co Kerry.

Declan Taite of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks was also appointed receiver and manager of Boisdale Holdings Ltd, Silvermire Properties Ltd and of certain assets of Bill Cullen, who formally owned the hotel along with his partner Jackie Lavin.

All jobs are to be saved and business shall resume as normal. The receivers and Muckross Park Hotel Management said the appointment would not have any impact on current or future bookings and all deposits and gift vouchers will be honoured.

It is believed that around 100 jobs are to be saved at the hotel following the receivership.
