Another arrest made in Niall Dorr murder investigation

Fifth person arrested after death of teenager in Dundalk last month.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED a fifth person in relation to their investigation into the death of a teenager in Co Louth last month.

Niall Dorr, 18, died in hospital on 14 October after sustaining head injuries in an assault in Dundalk.

It is believed he and the friends he was walking with became involved in a dispute with a group of about six people.

The conclusions of a post-mortem examination carried out by the state pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy have not been released, the Irish Times reports.

Gardaí say they arrested a man in his 20s today in the Dundalk area and are holding him at Dundalk Garda Station.
