Police investigate murder of man in Antrim

The man was shot at around 8.30pm last night.

THE PSNI IS investigating the murder of a man in Antrim last night.

Police are investigating the murder of the 36-year old man, which took place in Newtownabbey. The man was shot in the Longlands area at around 8.30pm. It is believed that at least two people were involved in the murder.

A burnt-out silver Volkswagen Bora is being examined by police. It had been hijacked from a location in Belfast earlier yesterday evening.
