GARDAÍ IN FINGLAS, Dublin, are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at a Post Office this afternoon.
At around 3.15 pm two men entered the Post Office in Finglas Village. One was armed with a hammer and the second man is believed to have been carrying a shotgun.
They threatened staff and customers and left with a four figure sum of money. The two men made their escape on a motorcycle.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident and gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact Finglas garda station on 01 6667500 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
