Man arrested over Donegal murder after Garda appeal for help

The 47-year-old man was arrested in Letterkenny last night, almost one month to the day after the body of Bogdan Michalkiawicz was discovered in an apartment.

A MAN HAS been arrested in Donegal in connection with the killing of Bogdan Michalkiawicz after a Garda appeal for help from the public.

The 47-year-old was arrested in Letterkenny last night, almost exactly one month after the body of Michalkiawicz was found at an apartment in Letterkenny town centre.

He is being questioned at Letterkenny Garda Station.

The body of the 37-year-old Polish  man was discovered at Westside Apartments in Letterkenny on the morning of Wednesday 15 May. He was last seen alive on Monday 13 May.

A reconstruction of the murder is to be shown on RTE’s Crimecall programme on Tuesday night, along with an appeal for information.
