Arrests as gardaí seize firearm in Crumlin

Gardaí seized the item, along with firearm component parts in an operation in Crumlin.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED four men and seized a firearm, a telescopic sight, and firearm component parts in an operation at Captain’s Road, Crumlin, Dublin.

They said the search began yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 9 October, and was carried out by officers from the detective units in the DMR Southern Division.

Four men, aged from their late teens and early 20s, were arrested during the search.

They are detained at Crumlin, Sundrive Road and Terenure Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
