FOUR PEOPLE HAVE been arrested by gardaí investigating an incident of violent disorder in Roscommon in July.
The incident occurred in Loughnaneane Park, Co Roscommon on 27 July.
Two homes in Co Longford were searched today. The four people, a man in his 30s, a woman in her 20s, and two juveniles, were arrested.
They are being detained at a garda station in the north western region.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward, including anyone with footage from the Loughnaneane Park area on 27 July.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Roscommon Garda Station on 090 6638300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station,” a garda spokesperson said.
Investigations are ongoing.
