A SPECIAL NEEDS assistant at a special school in Maynooth has won the first National SNA Support and Inspire award.

Sarah Blount works at Stepping Stones Special School in Maynooth, Co Kildare. She was nominated for the award by her colleagues and community members.

Blount received her award at the school on Friday. The school is a non-denominational, co-educational school providing high quality education for children with a diagnosis of Autism and complex needs.
