CABHRÓIDH AN INTLEACHT shaorga le comhlachtaí léiriúchán sa todhchaí, ach tá ‘fíor dhaoine’ fós de dhíth.

Sin céard a bhí le rá ag Maggie Breathnach, stiúrthóir an chomhlachta léiriúcháin Red Shoe Productions.

Thug The Journal cuairt ar Maggie i nGaeltacht na Rinne, agus roinn sí sa tuairim maidir leis an dtonn intleachta shaorga atá ag teacht inár dtreo

Tá polasaí bunúsach AI ag Red Shoe agus mothaíonn Maggie go bhfuil uirthi é a uasdátú go luath mar gheall go bhfuil an intleacht shaorga ag athrú chomh sciobtha sin.

Ní bhainfidh Red Shoe Productions úsáid as AI riamh chun fuaimriain cheoil nó guthú a dhéanamh do chláracha, ach seans go mbeadh AI ina cabhair le cúrsaí taighde agus páipéarachais.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL help production companies in the future, but ‘real people’ are still needed in the creative process.

That’s according to Maggie Breathnach, director of the Irish language production company Red Shoe Productions.

The Journal visited Maggie in the Gaeltacht in An Rinn, where she told us about how the company is managing the wave of AI that is coming our way.

Red Shoe has a basic AI policy – particularly around never using AI to create music or voiceovers, but that it could be of use it to help with research or paperwork – and Maggie feels she needs to update it soon because artificial intelligence is changing so quickly.
