A 19-YEAR-old man in Belfast was taken to hospital last night after being attacked at his home by a gang of four men.
Three of the men were armed with baseball bats or metal bars and they entered the man’s home in the Queens Avenue area of Newtownabbey just before 10pm.
The young man sustained injuries to both legs and was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
Speaking about the incident, detective constable Jennifer Torrance said police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact them.
